So im listening to Mike and Mike and Barack Obama was a guest. (heres the link) Initially I did not believe he would be able to hold a good sports conversation. I love the talk about "schooling" Stuart Scott. I wouldn't mind playing some ball with Obama, I bet he can hoop. He was already winning my "he's cool" vote, but man, this guy is cool. At the end of the interview they mentioned McCain was already on the show and it made me really curious on what he had to say. So I found it.
Comparing the two interviews I honestly felt like McCain's people handed him a script so he could have an educated conversation about sports. "Cardinals being 2-0 for the first time since 1991", Im sure he knew that off the top of his head. Grandpa doesn't even know where he is... When asked about sports heros he says uhhh alot of them... He mentioned thats sports heros are our role models and Obama mentioned that our father's should be our main role model. McCain always says "I dont want to bore you with stories...." usually at that time, im already bored out of my mind, and I blank out and dont hear a word he says for about 30 seconds.
So after these two non debatable interviews I conclude that McCain is senile, boring, has a terrible whistle in his voice. Obama on the otherhand is cool, entertaining, and was very educated in his sports chat.
Anyways...Im not going to say I know everything about their political views and blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda. But if it were based on these two interviews... Obama gets my vote.
