What went wrong with Denver? I think they went into Carolina and played that good Carolina team. They stayed with them early, but I think that they were counting on the fact of winning the game against Buffalo here in Denver. They had many chances and out-gained them by almost twice as many yards but really didn’t have a chance or the killer instinct to put them away, which is eminent for the playoff spot. When it comes to the 5-8 San Diego Chargers, there are a few major things wrong with that team that is holding them back from winning ball games. Clearly the biggest issue with the Chargers is injuries. You cannot lose your top players on each side of the ball, linebacker Shawne Merriman and running back LaDainian Tomlinson, and expect them to be the same team. I think going for the two-point conversion and the win was a great move by Herm Edwards. I think the chances are 65 or 67 percent of the first team that gets the football wins in overtime.
