According to Profootballweekly.com, the Cowboys are thinking of using Felix Jones and Marion Barber on the field at the same time next season.

Analysis:The Cowboys talked about doing this last season as well, but it never came to fruition. Jones is explosive and extremely fast though, and if he splits out wide it could be a very dangerous combination on offense. We'll wait and see if Dallas puts their money where their mouth is.

A day after a report surfaced saying the Cowboys told Tony Romo to get into better shape this offseason, the quarterback denied it on Wednesday and said the team actually worries about him exercising too much, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The Dallas Morning News Jason Witten says that Patrick Crayton "looks faster, more explosive." Crayton worked on his running form and hand eye coordination in the offseason, and he is battling Miles Austin and Sam Hurd for he No. 2 receiver job.

Analysis:Crayton has a lot of sleeper value this season, but it remains to be seen just how big a part he will play in the Cowboys offense. Not only do they have a strong running game, but both Roy Williams and Jason Witten figure to see a lot more targets than everyone else.

The Sacramento Bee reports that coach Tom Cable believes Greg Ellis can be an every down defensive end in the Raiders base 4-3 defense. He is already working out with the first team.

Analysis:Ellis played a blitzing outside linebacker in the Cowboys' 3-4 defense last season. He should be a factor in big-play IDP formats, but his tackle total will likely leave you wanting more.

Sam Hurd, who has been battling a quad injury, will sit out of Cowboys activities until training camp according to the Dallas Morning News.

Analysis:Hurd says he is 100 percent and we expect he will be when training camp begins in late July.
